About the Photographer
Sandy
I am a nature photographer based in the Pacific Northwest, where the mornings are misty and the forests are full of wings and tiny wonders. What began as a quiet hobby during early retirement has become a daily practice of attention and patience.
My work is not about rare species or perfect shots. It is about being present in the places where birds and bugs live, learning their rhythms, and returning home with images that remind me of what I saw.
This site is a journal of those mornings: the photographs, the waiting, the small lessons. I hope it encourages you to look up, look down, and listen.
